Lisa Graham, once having gone by Lisa Lauryn, is a seasoned vocalist and a veteran performer whose start began with talent and beauty pageants at age twelve. Lisa’s parents were in the music business and she began following in their footsteps from the age of fourteen. She soon started earning pay as a professional vocalist. Lisa’s recording experience began at fourteen in Memphis, Tennessee at Sam Phillips Recording Studio.

The list of well known artists she has performed with and opened for are the Amazing Rhythm Aces, Keith Whitley, John Wesley Ryles, Glen Campbell, the Bill Gaither vocal group with Michael English, Marilyn McCoo, Paul Overstreet, Michael W. Smith, Larnell Harris, as well as a long list of studio musicians who worked with major artists such as Willie Hall from the Blues Brothers and Erma Shaw from K.C. and the Sunshine Band. She has to her credit, recorded background vocals for major artists’ Chad Brock, Mila Mason, and The Osmond Brothers. Lisa also sang background vocals on the song “Too Many Rivers to Cross” that was on an album that was featured in the Tom Cruise movie “The Firm “. Lisa has worked with the best the majoriity of her career.

Other special accomplishments include appearing on the Grand Ole Opry twice, first in 1985 as a contestant in the Wrangler Country Showdown, winning a $10,000 cash prize along with a new 1985 Dodge Van for travel to performances. The second appearance was in 1997 by invitation as a special guest.

Lisa won “You Can Be a Star” in 1987 and won second runner up in the Marlboro Country Music Roundup in 1988 coming in behind John Berry along with, at the time, unknown singer Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn.

Lisa spent three years in Branson, Missouri performing for Presley’s Theater, the gospel show Celebration Theater, opening for several known gospel artists. She then opened for and sang background vocals for the Osmond Brothers Theater and sang on their Christmas album in 1992.

Lisa moved to Nashville, Tennessee and worked for Gaylord Entertainment in 1987 and 1998.

Lisa traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and performed as a featured guest for a three month limited engagement in 2002 at the 2000 seat Alabama Theater. The show ran 6 days a week with major artists performing on the weekends. She has to her credit an appearance on the popular t.v. show “Live! With Regis and Kelly “.

While in Nashville, Lisa regularly sang in the studio for demonstration purposes for many known songwriters such as Alex Harvey (“Delta Dawn”, “Reuben James”) Skip Ewing (“Love Me”, “Wish You Were Here”) Don Singleton (“Fool for Your Love “) These songwriters wrote for many well known Grammy award winners such as Kenny Rogers, Tanya Tucker, Brian White, Randy Travis, Clint Black, Mark Wills, Kenny Chesney, Diamond Rio, just to name a few.
